St Leonard's Church

Love Christmas is a national ecumenical initiative to deliver Bags of Kindness – a gift of mainly festive food items – to those who are struggling or may be alone and might appreciate an act of kindness at Christmas.  Since 2020, 1.6m Bags of Kindness have been distributed across the UK.

Locally, Love Christmas is a partnership between St Leonard’s church, local schools and the YMCA, supported by Morrisons and recently by donations from Redditch Lions, Redditch Round Table and Redditch Rotary Club.

​

The Bags of Kindness are delivered to people mainly in the Beoley, Church Hill and Abbey Park areas with the help of the schools, local Councillors and Age UK.
