Nothing says Christmas quite like the joy, colour, and sparkle of the St Leonard’s Christmas Festival and Market – a cherished tradition with a heart for community and celebration. Since 2022, we’ve taken this much-loved event to the Willow Trees YMCA Community Centre, a space that’s become a second home through our monthly Church@4 gatherings. The venue offers us room to grow, welcome more people, and create an even bigger and better festive experience.

Step Into the Magic…

From the moment you enter, the festive cheer begins. The foyer is bursting with excitement, with our ever-popular Christmas Prize Draw. Generously supported by local businesses, the draw features an impressive array of goodies and gifts – a real highlight for many.

In this space you’ll also find our Christmas Games Zone – a fun-filled area with seasonal games and challenges for children and those who are young at heart. Whether you’re aiming for prizes or simply sharing laughter with friends, it’s a great way to soak up the Christmas spirit.

A Very Special Guest...

Through a set of twinkling doors, you’ll discover something truly magical – our beautifully decorated Santa’s Grotto. Each year, the room is transformed into a winter wonderland, where children can meet Father Christmas himself. There’s even a little early Christmas gift for every visitor! It’s a moment full of wonder and joy, and one not to be missed.

Shop, Browse and Enjoy

In the main hall, the Christmas Market offers a treasure trove of delights. Explore a wide variety of stalls, including handcrafted gifts, festive decorations, local makers, stained glass, and our legendary cake stall—always stocked with homemade bakes that are too good to resist. You’ll also find tombola's, gift stalls, and plenty of opportunities to tick off your Christmas list in one festive sweep.

 

​Take a Break at Our Christmas Café

When it’s time for a rest (or a sweet treat), head over to the Christmas Café. Enjoy a cuppa, a warming mulled wine, or a creamy hot chocolate, along with mince pies and other seasonal goodies. You’ll find Revd Gail here too, hosting a free craft stall with creative Christmas activities for all ages—so there really is something for everyone.
