Serving the people of Beoley, Church Hill and Abbey Park
Church@4
Here, everyone is welcome, valued,
and loved by God and each other
as we explore faith and prayer together.
First Sunday of the Month, 4pm
Willow Trees YMCA Community Centre

At Church@4, there’s no need to dress up, have it all together,
or even be sure what you believe.
Just come as you are.

We meet on the first Sunday of every month at 4pm at Willow
Trees YMCA Community Centre for a relaxed, café-style
gathering. No pews. No pressure. Just real people, real
conversations, and a space to explore faith gently and
honestly.

It all starts with food
We begin by sharing food together—simple, homemade, and completely free. There’s tea, coffee, something tasty to eat (yes, cake often features!), and plenty of time to chat. Whether you arrive at 3.45pm, on the dot at 4, or a few minutes after, you’ll be met with a warm smile and a cuppa.
Church@4 is for everyone
All ages. All life stages. Whether you’ve been going to church for
years, are just dipping a toe in, or aren’t sure where you stand—
you are welcome here. Church@4 is about community, not
conformity. You don’t need to have answers. You don’t need to
say or do anything you’re not comfortable with. Just come, be
yourself, and find your own pace.

What happens?
Each month we explore a story from the Bible. At the moment,
we’re working through a series called “The Big Family of God,”
starting at the very beginning and discovering the people God
has used to show love, compassion, and justice throughout
history.

We respond in all kinds of ways—sometimes through simple crafts, sometimes through chat and discussion, sometimes through music, quiet reflection, or creativity. You
choose how you’d like to join in. There’s no “right” way—just
your way.

We might sing a song—don’t worry, we’re learning them together.
Worship here is about participation, not perfection.

Why not in church?
St Leonard’s is a beautiful and sacred space, and we love it
dearly. But Church@4 needed something a bit different. The
community centre gives us the flexibility to set up tables, be a
little more hands-on, and worship in a creative, informal way.

The Church isn’t the building—it’s the people. And at Church@4, we’re living that out, offering the same welcome, warmth, and faith community you’d find on a Sunday morning at St Leonard’s, just in a new setting that feels like a second home.

Stay for as long or as little as you like
Our worship finishes around 5pm, some people hang around
and help us pack away, others head off straight away. It’s
completely up to you. Whether you’re chatty or quiet, early or
late, full of faith or full of questions—there’s space for you here.

Church@4 is slowly growing into something special—a new
church family, not separate from St Leonard’s, but another
expression of who we are. A place to belong, to be real, to be
loved—by God and by one another.

We’d love to see you there.
No pressure. No performance.
Just people, presence, and possibility.
