Compulsory Fees
There is a required legal fee for marrying in a church.
In 2022 it costs £560 if you marry away from where you live and £512 if you marry in your home parish. This is set by the Church of England nationally and is the same for every church.
This basic legal fee includes the cost of the vicar, the church, calling your banns, a banns certificate, the marriage certificate, lighting and all administration.
In addition to these statutory fees, there are a number of optional additions which can make your day run smoothly and more special:

If you would like to discuss wedding arrangements or make a booking, please pop into one of our sessions, you will be made very welcome.
These are on 1st and 3rd Thursdays during peak season and once per month in the winter months from 6pm – 8pm. No appointment is needed just pop along where we will have a team of people readying to welcome you and guide you though your booking and planning.

April 7th, April 21st, May 5th, May 19th, June 16th, July 7th, July 21st, August 4th, September 1st, September 15th, October 6th, November 3rd, December 1st.
