Weddings at St Leonard’s

Christians believe that marriage is a gift from God. In the marriage service, a couple make a public declaration of lifelong commitment to love each other, for better and for worse; in sickness and in health.

Wedding RingsA Church wedding may be grand or simple, but at its heart is the desire to seek God’s blessing on your vows and your relationship as husband and wife.

You may be looking at getting married at St Leonard’s or having your Banns read.  In either case we want to help you make the arrangements for your special day run as smoothly as possible.

Contact us to check what you need to do next by making an appointment with Rev. Paul Irving or coming along to a bookings session at St Stephen’s Church Redditch Town Centre (B97 4DY) on Thursday Evening 6am-7.30pm.  St Leonard’s Beoley, St Stephen’s and St Philip’s Webheath share this session, so do tell us where you are seeking to be married within the Holy Trinity Team.  Parking is available around the church.

Please click below for more information about the marriage service and also help on planning your wedding service, whatever church you choose to do it in. As you consider the possibility of marrying in church you might feel that you want to know more about the Christian faith. The clergy will be happy to talk to you about this.

At St Leonard’s we wish you all the best with your preparations for getting married. If you are looking for a reception venue, why not choose the local Bordesley Park Wedding Venue, situated less than a mile from St Leonard’s Church in a beautiful setting with magnificent facilities?
