| After lunch at various establishments in Ashbourne, we next visited All Saints, Brailsford (6,10-0-14 in G). Here our coach driver was a little sceptical of the narrow lane that approached the church, but was relieved to find a generous car park at the end of it! |

| We found a recently constructed ringers' gallery, which had created a room in the base of the tower for the Sunday School. These bells were a delight to ring, and some of our best striking of the day was produced here. We were asked to leave the bells up and were happy to oblige. |
