The Annual Outing 2007 |
| The seventy-ninth Beoley Ringers' Outing left St Leonard's Church on its traditional second Saturday in May, which this year was May 12th. We travelled to visit five churches in Derbyshire: All Saints, Sudbury, St Michael's, Sutton on the Hill, St Chad's, Longford, All Saints, Brailsford and St Martin's, Osmaston. The churches were all based around Ashbourne, which was where we planned to have lunch. |
| Having already picked up ringers from Church Lench, the coach left Beoley at 8.40 a.m. This year, we were also delighted to welcome ringers from St Laurence's, Alvechurch, who were joining us for the first time for a number of years. |
| The return time was around 7.20 p.m. for the Beoley ringers and 8.00 p.m. for those from Church Lench. We would like to thank all of the towers that we visited for their kind hospitality, especially St Michael's, Sutton on the Hill, for providing refreshments. |
